Frequently Asked Questions
What are your prices?
My pricing is flexible, not fixed. I work with you and your budget to determine the right price for a class. To give you an idea, I typically charge $60 per hour for classes involving movement. The same duration for Meditation might be $40.
How long is a class?
Choose from a 30-minute class, 1 hour, 75 minutes, or 1.5 hours. If you’re combining a few styles of yoga, then longer is better.
Can I pick multiple styles of yoga to do in one class?
Yes, but it depends. Here are the following combinations I think make sense (but if you have another idea, please ask when you contact me):
Meditation + Flow/Slow Flow/Yin
Flow/Slow Flow + Yin
Do you use essential oils or scents?
I certainly can, if you are not overstimulated or triggered by smells. I consider these elements add-ons to a class, so they cost a little bit extra to include in your offering. I also offer Yoga Nidra as an add-on, which is a unique, guided experience. It is nicknamed “Yogic Sleep” because of the state of consciousness it aims to bring about between being asleep and awake.
Do you provide props or a yoga mat for me?
I do not provide props or mats for group classes, simply because buying bulk of any item gets quite pricey. I do, however, provide props for in-person, private sessions. If you already have your own props and would like to use them - either in a group or private setting - please do, but let me know beforehand so I do not haul mine! Of course, I cannot provide props for online classes.
I love physical guidance! Can you assist me throughout class?
I am trained in offering assists when I observe that a body can shift or deepen into a pose, and I enjoy offering them since I believe that they can be a beautiful method of connection and healing for some people… however, I firmly adhere to consent-based touch and will ask prior to giving any assists if you would like that in your current pose.
I don’t want to be touched! How do I know you won’t assist me?
Many people never want physical touch, under any circumstances, in their practice. So, in every class I teach, I ask for consent from my students before class begins and at the time I plan to offer an assist. If you said “No” to gentle touch at the top of class, then I will not continue to ask you for consent throughout the class. If I am teaching a trauma-informed class or at a studio that only offers trauma-informed classes, I do not even offer assists at this time.
What are your credentials?
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with a 200-hour certification, as well as a certification in Teaching Trauma-Informed Yoga & Somatic Embodiment.
