No need to sign up prior to class. Mats and props are provided on site. These include blocks, blankets, bolsters, straps, rubber balls, meditation pillows, and eye pillows.
This is a Pay-What-You-Can style offering with suggested amounts of $15, $20 or $25. You can bring cash or scan Marcella’s Venmo QR code before/after class to contribute.
So what is Gentle Yoga exactly?? It is somewhere between Yin and Slow Flow styles of Yoga. We will explore seated, prone and standing postures while you move through them using your breath as your guide.. All movement is done so slowly and intentionally to build strength and balance. We will also hold certain poses for some time, but never minutes at a time like Yin. Additionally, breathwork and yoga philosophy are offered at the start and/or end of class.
